It seems like such a long time since our graduation from Oberlin and my life since then has been very full. I was planning to attend our 50th reunion at Oberlin with my college roommate, but life intervened and neither one of us was able to attend the reunion.
After graduation from Oberlin, I earned my doctorate in psychology, both clinical and school psychology, from Rutgers University in 1977 and worked for more than 40 years in private practice and as a school psychologist. I was married to an attorney, which ended in divorce, no children, and then he passed away from a heart attack after our divorce. I worked as a psychologist for more than forty years and as I was looking forward to my retirement, I met my second husband, a retired ophthalmologist with children and grandchildren. We have been together for more than 11 years and enjoy reading and discussing, social dancing, attending concerts, dining out, especially in ethnic restaurants, and getting together with friends and family members.
