I knew Kitty from childhood: we were classmates through grade school and high school. We were also the two from our High school class that went to Oberlin College, she to study music at the Conservatory (she was a cellist and came from a very musical family) and I became a chemistry major. We saw each other on campus quite a bit during the four years at Oberlin, but after graduation we went our separate ways, as is inevitable, but I will always remember Kitty as being an intelligent, talented and very compassionate person who was always a pleasure to be around.
